Wildlife Food Plots

Planting and maintaining wildlife food plots is an excellent way to improve your wildlife habitat. Crops we have had good luck with include: barley, wheat, millet, sunflower, canola, alfalfa, sanfoin, and garbanzo beans .  We have also planted numerous perennial cover plots utilizing grasses such as Great Basin Wild rye and Slender Wheat Grass.   Management of annual food plots is an ongoing commitment, focusing on weed control, irrigation, and reducing impacts from grazing animals.
